Free at every Big City Crushed Concrete and Arcosa Crushed Concrete recycle yard for clean concrete; landfills price concrete-mixed C&D higher (e.g. City of Waco Landfill in Axtell is $125/ton for C&D with concrete vs. $75/ton without).
Where it's accepted
Big City Crushed Concrete yards in Arlington, Dallas (Downtown and Goodnight), Lewisville, North & South Fort Worth, and Sherman, plus Arcosa Crushed Concrete recycle yards in Caddo Mills, Euless (Mosier Valley), Ferris (Malloy Bridge), Hutchins, Kennedale, McKinney, Mesquite (Sunnyvale), and Rowlett (Garland). Some Arcosa yards also accept asphalt for a per-load fee.
Pro tips
Loads must be clean — rebar is OK at Big City Arlington but most yards want it pulled. Brick is a $40-per-load upcharge at Big City Lewisville and Sherman. Arcosa occasionally pays per load for clean concrete.
