DFW Landfill Fees Compared (2026)

Landfill gate fees move quietly every quarter, but the relative order in DFW has been stable for a few years. Here's what our facility database shows in 2026, by material.

Mixed C&D (per ton, from facility database)

• Skyline Landfill (Ferris): $51.97/ton, 2-ton minimum — typically the cheapest large C&D site
• Fort Worth C&D Landfill (Waste Connections): $59/ton, 2-ton minimum
• Arlington Landfill (Euless): $64/ton, plus resident discounts
• Turkey Creek Landfill (Alvarado): $65/ton, 1-ton minimum
• 121 Regional Disposal (Melissa): residents free with limits, commercial $65/ton + tax
• Custer Road Transfer Station (Plano): residents free, commercial $65/ton + tax, 1-ton minimum
• City of Waco Landfill (Axtell): $75/ton C&D no concrete, $125/ton with concrete

MSW gate rates

• McCommas Bluff (Dallas): free for Dallas residents with vehicles under 15 ft; commercial $43.60/ton + $2 environmental + $2 processing
• City of Denton Landfill: resident rate $48/ton with $25 minimum
• Northwest (Bachman) Transfer Station (Dallas): residents free; commercial $71.28/ton + fees
• City of Waco Transfer Station: $72/ton MSW, $10 minimum

Clean concrete and asphalt

Dedicated recyclers Big City Crushed Concrete (Arlington, Dallas, Lewisville, North/South Fort Worth, Sherman) and Arcosa Crushed Concrete (Caddo Mills, Euless, Ferris, Hutchins, Kennedale, McKinney, Mesquite, Rowlett) take clean concrete free at every location. Asphalt loads run $50–$100 per load at the Arcosa Euless, Hutchins, and Rowlett yards. Brick is $40 per load at Big City Lewisville and Sherman. Landfills price concrete inside mixed C&D much higher (City of Waco jumps from $75/ton to $125/ton when concrete is included).

Roofing shingles

C&D landfills accept asphalt shingles at standard tonnage rates — Fort Worth C&D $59/ton (2-ton minimum), Turkey Creek $65/ton (1-ton minimum). Wise County's Boyd and Decatur dumpsites accept shingles at $25 per cubic yard; their Chico, Cottondale, and Slidell sites do not.
